A couple Goldscan 5 Q's

My Goldscan 5 is due to arrive tomorrow. This will be my first PI machine. Any pointers on pinpointing would be appreciated as well as determining the depth and size of a target. I intend to do some nuggethunting in AK, but my primary targets will be coins, relics and jewelry. Big thanks in advance for any assistance.
