A couple of baseball photos...

I am just now getting the opportunity to shoot some kids ball games. When my sons where playing ball I was using 35mm cameras and you didn't have the leeway that you have with digital.

This particular one was shot through a crack in the fence on the far side of home plate capturing the third base runner eyeing the batter under the watchful eye of his coach... Gotta love the bright sunshine to allow for fast shutter speeds and longer lenses!

This is from the same vantage point to the runner leading off from first base.

These photos were shot with the Canon Digital Rebel XTi with a Canon 75-300 lens... I've only taken just over four hundred photos with this XTi now but I must comment that the ease of use over my old XT is amazing! I just can't say enough on how much friendlier the menus are to use!

And the instant feedback versus the 35mm is another big plus for the digital. I really think it helps tremendously to make one a better photographer.
