Well, I didn't hit the old farmhouse again today as my buddy couldn't go...so I thought I'd wait for him and go tomorrow.
I opted to hit the honey hole for a bit as they pulled up a stump there.
I found all of these in a 15' x 15' area.
-1959 Large Cent
-1884 Large Cent
-2 1906 Large Cents
-1875 Indian Head
-1918 Dime
-1930 & 1932 pennies
-Winnipeg Pin (found one very similar there that says "Kingston"
-strange leaf pin!?
Anybody have any clue what the thing is with the 3 leaves stacked on top of each other is!? It might be silver...but it's not stamped or anything. It's about the size of a silver dollar. The photo of the back shows some type of bracket with holes in it. I thought it may be a pin, but it almost looks like it could have been a lid to something!?
Thanks for looking
Wess

Wess, I have dug three leaves just like yours, mine is a clip-on type earring.
Great finds, keep them coming.

It wasn't very deep, so I didn't figure it was too old. Oh well, cool find I guess <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
Thanks again

I found mine at the site of a log house. The coins that I pulled out of that site ranged from the 1890s to the 1930s, so I figured it was at least 70 years old. I don't really know for sure.
