Strong Little Heart

Brian is still breathing very shallow and a little erratic. But his strong little heart beats on, his heart rate is starting to get more erratic with each day. I am sorry we haven't updated sooner today there just wasn't as many people here today. We have just sat around and relaxed in Brians room. Not much change in today I just wanted to keep you all updated on how he is doing. I really wanted to thank Mark and Tammy this weekend. Their help was absolutely wonderful to Carol, Doug and even me. You all were true angels this weekend and true friends to both of them.

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July.

Last night was rough!

It has been a long night. I woke Carol up around 3am and we have had to keep a close watch on his trach. He has required suctioning every 15 minutes or so and we had to change the trach a couple of times. Once, he started struggling real hard to breathe and when we removed the trach it was plugged on the end.

His breathing seems to be much more labored this morning and at 7:11 he quit breathing for several, long seconds. When he resumed breathing we both let out a sigh of relief.

We really need to thank our good friends Mark, Tammy and Amy for helping us monitor Brian overnight Thursday through Sunday evenings. They sacrificed their weekend and their sleep to allow Carol and I the opportunity to get a little rest.

We have been blessed by their unselfish dedication.

Many, many other friends and family members have blessed us also by providing food and drinks for everyone present. Thank you very, very much.
 
Yes, being so young, he has a strong heart but in time he will be with God and be praising Him for His saving grace and for having such good parents, grandparents, loved ones and friends to be in his life with such love and caring! Brain can say, I have kept the faith and have finished the race when his time is to go to heaven! How wonderful it is for everyone to know that they will see him again, someday! May God keep on blessing the Stucky family and by His mercy and grace Brian will be going home to a far better land than this corrupted and sinful planet Earth! Love to you all with prayers for God's comforting love to still be embracing each of you! Amen! :angel: Ma & Gamma Betty
