A couple UK photos .....

One day when it was supposed to rain hard all day, Keith and I drove to Leeds to see the Royal Armory Museum. This place was full of military weapons, and uniforms from early knives and swords to modern weapons. They had suits of armor from different countries and rulers. Here is Keith standing by King Henry VIII's suit of armour. Obviously King Henry VIII was a large man ..... or was trying to impress the ladies of the court .... or both.

Also saw a Knight in shining armour display .... the equipment was so cool .... but the Knight was "butt ugly"

Still trying to get this identified ... I think it might be a Roman stylus (lead pencil) in a bone or pottery / ceramic holder. I've found lead stylus's before but have not ever seen a holder before.

... he took lots of photos as his cam fits in his shirt pocket. I just took photos of some of my better finds (Some of which I'm still trying to identify) to look at until I get my stuff back from the UK.

I'll post some of Keith's photos when I get them.
