A day in the bush!

"Honey do" got me early this morning and HAD to finish painting an outside metal door. Consequently, got a little later start with my daily hunt. I did end up with a few targets, including a 40d Merc and a sterling Catholic medal and a 1930 wheatie. The small pocket spill I ran into, unfortunately, was all clad. 2 quarters, 3 dimes and 2 nickels. Did dig the bottom portion to a 3 Merry Widows container and that sucker was all of 12" deep. It was bouncing around with quite a few 90's readings and I was hoping. New growth is cropping up and growing fast so my bush days are numbered. LTD with 11" coil, bp mode, 99 sen, 0 disc, 4h tones and gb of 63-66. HH jim tn

WTG jmtn,I like that schwinn badge:thumbup:....hh rick in mi.

Well, Furious T, this mornings hunt was disappointing. Woods are now pretty over grown so decent coil placement is a problem. Will probably give it another shot or two, but it is now tough hunting. All I managed this morning was 3 no value tokens, 1 1950 wheat cent, 4 zincers and a nickel. On top of that, it feels like winter again. Low 40's this morning and low 50's for a high and a couple more days of the same in store, but back to the 70's on Sun. Hope everyone in the northern reaches are able to get some swinging in. rick, I see you are. HH jim tn
