I work nites,I got up about noon to mow mine and our neighbors' lawns....My 1 neighbor whose lawn I mow is in a wheelchair;I started on his lawn first...In a couple minutes a boy came up to me and said there had been a 9-1-1 call placed from the mans' house a minute ago...We are good friends,almost family-I went inside,and his cleaning lady was there that helps him out every week-
..Ron was in his wheel-chair,slumped way over....Ive taken advanced 1st aid,and knew the end had come for him sometime recently....his cleaning lady was crying,saying PLEASE dont let him be gone!!!Unfortunately,he was....He had been having light strokes lately;I seen him just Monday,was lookin good...SO:In front of his cleaning lady and her boyfriend;I said a prayer over Ron;committing his soul back to the Father.I dont know if he was a believer or not;I think he was...Anyway,I will say prayers for him Sunday...Incidentally;this man had a safe in his home,LOADED with cash....I made sure to tell the police about it,I didnt know if the cleaning lady knew about it or not,so I told the police in front of her. As I write this,his brother is on his way from Walled Lake;he wants to talk to me about the money issue...Only the man that died;and his brother,knows the combination to the safe-The other day,he had his checkbook out when I was over to see him,and it was LOADED WITH$$$'S-I asked him why isnt that in your safe??Do you always stuff your cash in your checkbook??His answer??"I havent gotten around to puttin it in there;I guess"-I made sure to tell the police about that too;and where it was...Hard tellin if there are greenbacks hidden all over,or not....I will tell his brother that;too.... Finding someone that has passed on has to be the WORST experience-Especially if you knew them...
