A few days in Vancouver

I have been in Vancouver the past week doing some work around my mother's house and getting out for a few hunts. I brought along my Detectorpro Underwater to use and had a few fun short hunts with it. Got a couple of bits of silver and lots of clad. Only ring was a battered silver one found doing a land hunt last night.

Still it has been fun and I made a video giving some of my impressions of the detector. Here's the link...

Detectorpro in Vancouver

That machine is a toonie magnet. With those $$$ totals, a fellow could live off the beach. That Detector Pro is awsome! Pulling out old silver dimes is bonus. Enjoyed the video too. My favorite find was that submarine.

I would love to make a trip like that, Great hunting and great finds.

DP or DF? I know it has to be nice not having the extra cords and works in the phones. That reason alone had me looking at a headhunter b4 I got the DF years ago, but with the DF hip mounted and the 12" coil on an Anderson CF shaft, It's a lot easier and less physical to swing on the sand than the Xcal.
I would not know where to start seeing all that beach, seems like whether you're north or south you have vast amounts of beach to hunt..... and most certainly would not like all those rocks to work around.
All that wood on the beach would be collected by locals around here for some sort of art project, drift wood on the beach here is like scrap metal on the curb, gone in 60 seconds.
Looks kinda cool up there, thats another thing this born & raised FL. boy would not like, but I do like the large cash denomination of your coin. I can count the number of $1 dollar coins I find per year on one hand. Wish the beach bars around here would use the $1 coins more, only place I ever get them is in change from the stamp vending machines at the post office.
Nice Vid and good hunt Scott:thumbup:
