Drying up maybe!? *haha* I put 2 hours in at the honey hole after work today. Found 1918 & 1916 Large cents, 1870 VICKY dime, strange victorian broach marked "Sterling", religious medallion (notre dame), kids compass, Kingston pin, and junk jewellery with an "M" or "W". I think I have become spoiled *haha*

You sure have pulled a lot of good ones out of there! What kind of site is it?

well I found it through a local history book. Came across a photo of a bunch of people swimming and laying in the grass on shore. Figured it would be a good spot for people to have lost some goodies. I recognized a huge boulder in the picture, so it was no problem finding the place. The picture was dated 1900...and seems like it was popular during that period based on the coins thus far. The area hasn't been touched since. It's in a nice grassy area. Barely any modern trash to deal with either! Lots of old trash from that era, but that's okay.

Simply amazing! I would be there as often as I could till it stopped producing.
