A few late season finds.

Got out today for one last hunt before I hang it up for the Winter. Found a beautiful 1864 two cent piece right next to an iron spike. Pulled the 1892 and 1907 Indian heads from the trash using the 8" coil and sweeping extremely slow. Glad this season is almost over. It was one of my worst in 18 years of metal detecting. Lousy weather and home remodeling really put a damper on my available hunting hours this year.

HI ED,
One has to get the priorities in order Metal detecting first, Wife second, Home remodeling fairly well down the list.

All the best.....Boony

Boy, did that 2-Cent Piece come out nice. And those Indians look great also. You do realize since you lost out this year detecting due to other tasks at hand that you will still have the sites that you wanted to hit this year making it more easy to find those nice old coins and relics that everyone loves to find. That way, you just postponed it getting harder to make great finds another year. Something to look forward to as I would always think and say. Congrat's on those last minute finds and Good Luck and HH nextyear.

I didn't find much either this year; got out much less than usual. And still have plenty of remodeling to do next year. Hopefully when it is all done we can play in the dirt more.

Chris
