A few Minelab/Coiltek battery observations

Hello Forum Lurkers,
Had a few electronic questions for any metal detectorist with some battery background. Here are a few things I have noticed in the past-
The stock Minelab 6volt 10amp batteries seem to wear out a lot faster than aftermarket batteries that are similar. For example, I purchased two of the Coiltek 6v 12amp hour batteries, and they do not wear down as fast and seem to keep a sturdy threshold longer during the day.
Second concern- I own and operate a Minelab GP Extreme which has a built in 6 volt regulator. I also try to keep the batteries switched out to stay above the 6-volt mark so the regulator is always giving the detector a true 6 volts worth. If it drops below the 6volts, I have noticed more ground noise and a less stable threshold. I have noticed the stock Minelab batteries to drop below this voltage faster than the aftermarket batteries such as the Coiltek
