I thought I was going to get skunked after three hours in a side yard and only one wheat to show. Then I took a break and headed over to the other side. Three feet from where I started I found the IH at about four inches. I was expecting a zinc. Then in the same little corner I found the merc, token and another wheat cent. Sure made up for the slow morning! The token says: "Andrews & Cooper, Family Groceries & Provisions, Front St. Dowagiac Mich." I love finding tokens - this is my first one with the Eagle and Union.

Great finds there Robin! I have never found a store card. That 88 injun is a nice one. Should go for some good bucks if and when you want to sell it! Check it close to see if it's an 8/7.
 
Not so easy to see the overdate either!
10% RED. One of the top examples of this very rare overdate. It is the second finest certified by either PCGS or NGC. This piece is held back from gem by a light scratch over the 2nd feather. This variety is so rare that each example known carries their own history. This example was found in the inventory of Stack's and sold in their Albert W. Savage sale, (10/97:130) where it sold for $33,000 prior to being certified. The only finer certified example (PCGS MS64RB Ex: Dr. Larson) sold recently by EERC for a record $85,000. This coin is a very attractive buy in comparison.
