Had to take a break up here in New England (MA) because of snow, but its all melted now and back out swinging! Found these three French Centimes coins in the same hole I was running about 26 sens, tracking and i believe the tid was about 38,using the 3kHz 9in coil, pattern 1 and the targets were about 4-5 inches deep. 2 of the coins are 5c and the bigger one is 10c. Very weird though. Seems someone had taken a reverse die to the bust and raised it from the back of the coin. They also added eye hooks and a small thin metal strip to the back of the coin that reads
AT AUG 11 1903. Never seen anything like this before. Also found what seems to be one of those rings that someone made out of a silver quarter. Neat stuff! I like finding the weird! LOL..Thanks and Happy Hunting! Emmett
