A Few New Beach Finds

Big waves on Wednesday, kind of stormy weather. At low tide I went out for about an hour and found what you see in the picture. The waves eroded away a bit of the sand, and you could see where the heavier surf had been. I was surprised to find all that change and only about three pull tabs... I'm guessing it was because of the stronger tide moving the coins etc around. I was feeling confident that a ring would have popped up... But unfortunately, none did.

By the way, two college aged kinds came up to me when it was almost dark, and started asking me a bunch of questions... Stuff like... It that detector there a top of the line one? Did you find some gold today? Etc,etc. They were probably just curious, but for a moment I thought they were gonna try and steal what ever they could from me. I told them my White MXT was a cheap-o model. HA!

Yea J.T. I think you're right.... Fortunately when people actually talk to me they realize that I don't seem to be the kind of person that would be an easy target. Even though I'm not exactly a tall or larger than average guy.

i hear ya! even though i am allowed to carry in my own state,if i go out of state,
and see a possible " encounter taking place,i just look at 'em,and "pat" my front pocket
indicating a "piece" and the a**holes walk away,plus when i am hunting,i ALWAYS look mean and nasty,so people will leave me alone!
i am NOT like this,however i find that the as* holes will scope you to determine if you are a "soft touch" so to speak!
my attitude does work! it does indeed drive people away from me while i am hunting!

Nice finds !!

I had a dude sizing me up in a park one day. He eventually walked up and asked me for a cigarette, which I quit 8 years ago. I think that once he realized I was bigger than him, and the fact that I was holding a screwdriver, he decided that it would'nt go his way ..
