A few older coins.:twodetecting: F 75LTD2 DST

My buddy and I hit an old piece of ground this morning that we hadn't been to for a while, but had yielded us and a couple of other guys we know of some nice old coins. That, plus the fact we hadn't ever used our 5" coils on the spot, only the NEL Sharpshooters, and felt it was worth a shot.

All in all, we managed several older varieties of coins. Chris didn't get a silver, but managed several wheat cents a nice 1900 V nickel and another nice 1919 Buffalo nickel. Except for being dark, both his nickels were in great shape. My 1st silver was a 1910 Barber dime and that was followed by a sterling ring. Then, I hit the 44d war nickel and pretty quickly followed that up with a 42 Merc. No wheat cents for me today. Not shown are several deep dug bottle caps that I dumped in a trash can at the end of the hunt.

Also included are two hunts old coins I got yesterday and the day before off of our old fairgrounds. 1 1903 I H, 1 n/d buffalo, 1 41 Merc and a 48d Rosie.

Running 90 Sen., 0 disc., de mode and 3h and 4h tones. These 75's do love nickels. HH jim tn

Great finds as usual.

Jim,

No matter how you roll the dice, that is a nice hunt.

Congrats,

Ron in WV

Looking good Jim! You don't have a shortage of good spots down there - it's taking a while to find consistent "good" areas to hunt around here! That Barber dime is in great shape

Hi Taylor. Year, with its nice detail, one of the better Barbers for a while. You are doing will out your way. Take care and thanks guys all around. HH jim tn
