[attachment 9286 10-23-05finds.JPG]got out for 4 hrs today with the Explorer XS.Same area as the last two times out.Last week didnt find any silver but got two wheats and an old arcade token.This week got two mercs(23,42), a 1935 buffalo, a chinese coin ,total of $ 1.71.Dont see a mintmark on the 23 merc though it shows alot of wear.Started in modified smartfind screen with the top left open,double checking in iron mask and later ended up in the advanced smartfind,deep, ferrous, 32 sensitivity.Had to work for those two dimes but very happy to see them pop out of the ground.Got fooled by two rusty nails and dug two other deep holes only to find a shallow clad coin near the surface. Six silvers to come out of this area with the XS and Im quite happy about that.
