A flaw with the Eurotek is it possibe

Ok ok not a flaw but noticed something tonight while cleaning up the wife's Eurotek Pro, the coil wire on the 8" coil touches the bottom of the coill bolt nut, no big deal but for the perfectionist the wire on the coil could of been in a different spot or the coil bolt nut be alittle smaller. Sure is a good detector though.

SkiWhiz what do you get for air test on clad dimes, nickels, penniers, and quarters on that rig? Reading the post on these sure is peaking my interest. I am thinking of a Vaquero but you guys keep getting my interest in this slick little detector on your post. I would like something deeper than my Silver uMax which I feel in my mild ground is about 6" max.

I am off to bed my eyes are too tired now to look for my post but if you do a search on this forum you will find my and other folks posts with the air test results they done. If you have read any of my posts on the forums you will know that I am a huge Tesoro guy (love their detectors) but was looking for something different for my wife that wouldn't break the bank and decided on the Eurotek Pro, glad we did she loves it (me as well), In my ground (northern New York) I find it every bit as deep as a Tesoro. I would never advise anyone not to get a Tesoro but can highly recogmend the Eurotek.

Yep, I have read much by you and know that you are a Tesoro man, so am I. I am just looking to get a little more depth than my Silver uMax.

Hi Skiwhiz

Wrap the cable over the rod, not under it, and the coil bolt will act as a strain relief.

Hi Mike, hope all is well. I always wrap the coil cable over the rod, same with toilet paper I want to pull the paper from the front of the holder not from the back. Doing the cable wrap and hanging the toilet paper roll any other way just isn't right.

Agreed!
