A gold and silver Sunday Morn.

After a couple of days of near non swinging, I headed off this morning to hunt some grass strips along the inside and outside of sidewalks on yea old silver site. I started out digging about everything close to a nickel reading on the F 75 LTD and as a result I managed to snag a beautiful 14 K 4.7 gram gold ring with 20 small diamonds. 33/34 was the magic reading at a 4" depth. Right after pocketing that little sweet thing about a foot further along I got a soft lock on 47 reading and thought, "why not." That turned out to be the g f ring. Also got a neat Eagle military device, a small 925 charm, which is similar to one I got last evening from a tot lot with the Omega, a couple of junk jewelry pieces and a 53d Rosie dime. I still had on the small 5" coil running 85 sen, 4 disc, 3h tones and b p mode. HH jim tn

Sweet finds. Just got my 5" coil and have been very impressed with the depth, even when turning down the sensitivity to 30 to get close to some metal objects. Anyone done a test on gold rings as to where they read? My 10K wedding ring only reads at "23" with my F 75. Where do heavy class rings read? What's the range of readings for gold rings? I'm sure someone has tested a group of them. Inquiring minds want to know. Keep up the good work, Jim
