A Good Day With The 250

Well I actually had a few hours to spend out at one of my local ball parks with my new ACE. I concentrated on the concession stand and the sidewalks and the adjacent parking areas. I will post photos as soon as the coins are cleaned. I believe I collected about $6-$7 bucks worth of clad in this mall little area.

I met another detectorist at the park he asked how I did...whipped out the whole stash and his eyes lit up! He showed me his and he had a small handful I had two full handfuls! He saw that I was using the ACE and asked how I liked it he was hearing lots of good things about it...well I guess he got to see my few hours of confirmation on that ! He was using I believe a Whites MTX unit. I was using the ACE with the standard coil.

It was a good day

Now to attack the rest of the park! The playground area, the 3 other field areas, the rest of the parking lots, the community center, I have fun a coming!

Photos coming soon

I wish I could hunt up here!! Supposed to be 25 later this week, If I could get to the ground I'd tough it out and hunt! Keep the finds coming! Post the pix!

If in your yard the ground is too hard you can still hunt. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy some cheap plastic marking flags on a wire. Then mark all your targets. When it thaws go back out and start digging. You neighbors will simply think your either marking for sprinklers or an invisible fence for a pet.
