A Good Day

I was contacted by a young lady a couple of days ago in regards to attempting to find her husbands wedding band which he had lost while working in the yard. I went to the residence this afternoon and met the couple, the young lady was very upset about the loss of the ring stating that the ring was platinum and she had paid $4400.00 for the ring and was in fact making payments on the ring. The young couple
had been married for 6 mo.The young couple had raked all of the leaves in the wooded area where they thought the ring had been lost. I proceeded to hunt using my Quattro, I turned the sensitivity down to 7 and left the trash density on high. I searched for about 2 hours with no luck. I even went through the piles of leaves that had been raked, I was just about to give up when I decided to extend my search area to include the bank of a small creek that was at the rear of the wooded area that the ring was thought to be lost. I didnt go 20ft. when I got a good signal looked down and there was the ring. I dont believe I have ever seen two people so happy. I got enough hugs that my neck is sore. I have been detecting for 10 years and I believe this was one of my best days. HH

Nice happy ending. Doesn't always work out that way. Must be a great feeling.

Man, if the men's band was $4400, I wonder what they paid for her ring?!

That's a great end to a days hunt in anyone's books. Good on you for finding the ring for them! Nice to help out genuine people.:)

What a wonderful story, and the fact that you went the "extra mile" obviously made the difference. Man what a terrific ending to an otherwise sad, sad story. Marc.
