I am 64 years old and until now have never had a White Christmas. But here's how it goes in N. Texas.

12/23/09 Sunny and 70 degrees.

[attachment 148458 100N-0118a_DSC.JPG]12/24/09 Snow from 11AM until 8PM. Wind up to 45MPH.
[attachment 148459 100N-0165a_DSC.JPG]12/25/09 5inches of snow on the ground.
[attachment 148460 100N-0168a_DSC.JPG]Temp is 20 degrees.
[attachment 148461 100N-0158a_DSC.JPG]As the first rays of sunlight hit the homeplace.
For my very first "White Christmas"

But we got freezing rain and ice first, I heard the snow went as far south as Waco TX.
I have a friend east of Whicita Falls TX. and they had snow before we did, we were getting the Ice.
We have some 3 and 4 foot drifts..
There may be some more snow or ice coming in before the first.
We have not had any mail since Wed.
Thursday, one big wreak had 50 cars involved.
