detecting with the T2 in awful ground this morning the T2 showed on screen , 48 jumping to 52, a very iffy signal but having years off listening to this type off signal, I dug about 6" down and out popped this Edward the Confessor silver penny of 1042-1066 ,made my day

Great find John!

It's amazing coins this old can be found in your area, I really need to go to your side of the pond.

Congrats,
Paul (Ca)

Nice find. One of the reasons I got the T-2 was for my England trip to Colchester in October. I used the Explorer 2 last time and did well. I'll be bringing the Explorer Se and the T-2 this trip. WTG!

Hi Randy all the best for your trip to England this October .going there myself earlier in the year.
cheers John

Hi John, Have you made the Colchester trip before and are you doing Chris's detecting tour? Good luck to you too.

HH Randy

Hi Randy seems you got the tools for the job ,good luck with your trip ,you will find a lot more with the T2 ,from my searching with both detectors ,
cheers John
