I wasn't out quite as early as Mud, but swinging away by 6:20a. Hit a football field and the front of an old school. Ended up with 3 nice targets, a 42s and 45p war war nickels, each about a foot apart and back to back and a small 925 marked silver ring. 40 some pieces of clad and 2 wheat cents and some junk jewelry rounded out the hunt. Still had on the 5" DD coil. Be safe this weekend. HH jim tn
 
Great ring! And a good looking plate full for the morning, quite a bit of targets...swinging a small coil!...that's about just the right kind of hunt...good count, silver, oldies thrown in...well done!:clapping:

Jim, nice going on the war nickels and silver ring. :thumbup: I really like finding nickels, especially war nickels.
