Spent several days hunting the beach in Duck NC with a friend and found this 8.4 gram 14K 6 diamond ring in the dry sand along the towel line. Not much luck in the surf or wet sand other then lots of coins and a few costume jewelry pieces. It was the last day at the beach and my friend had left the beach to start packing the truck for the ride home, so I was bound and determined not to go home empty handed. We hit the beaches hard for 3 solid days spending about 10 hours each day hunting both high and low tides. Lots of fun and exercise to boot and got in a lot of surf and pier fishing as well. The drums were running like crazy in the surf.
