A little info on the T2Ltd. and how it incorporates the boost mode into the user interface.

On the F75Ltd the modes are just 2 additional Process Modes so it is easy to put it into Boost or CL and still access all other features.
On the T2Ltd we added them as choices under tone adjustments.

This means while in BP or CL-you will always be in the 2+ tone setting if you are in the new modes-Boost will also carry over to all metal.

Maybe this will help some decide which Ltd. they might want to purchase

Thank you, Mike. How many are being field tested and how soon can we order them?

n/t

The F75 may have more flexibility with tone selection. I mostly use 2 tone with the F75 .
The boost mode is a slower sweep speed so i don't think running more tones would have a benefit

In trying to decide between the F75 and T2 LTD's I have a question about the tones since 2+ is the only tone with the new processes. From post on this forum many people say the T2 is a better coin shooter, if that is the case wouldn't 2 tones be a limitation, where would nickels fit in? I have never used a T2, what does 2+ tones mean.

1- Is it low for iron and high for non ferrous?
2 - What does the + mean?
3 - In the 0 to 99 scale where would ferrous end and non-ferrous begin?

1. Yes
2. The non ferrous tone has VCO effect also, ie somewhat variable pitch based on relative size and depth of the target
3. 41

I wonder how useable depth of the T2 Ltd. will compare to the F75 Ltd.

That's the $64,000 question...

Well, I personally never saw more depth with the F75 over the T2, so my guess is they will be similar if not the same. I know many say the F75 is deeper, but for me, all settings being equal, each would hit what the other would hit, and each would miss what the other would miss.
