Went out for a few hours and found out that the area that I was hunting was nothing close to being worked out yet. I managed to find 7 Silver today. 3 Mercury Dimes dated 1923,1940-s and 1942, 3 Roosevelt Dimes dated 1946-d and (2) 1960-d and I also found a 1943-p Jefferson War Nickel in a hole with 5 Wheaties. I also found a Gold Wedding Band but it doesn't have any markings in it. I am sure it is Gold since it doesn't have any pitting and there is a old small gouge on the side of it and it still is Gold color. I will take it in and have it tested to be 100% right. It read a 25 on digital and is about an inch in diameter. I found a Trade Token also and it says GOOD FOR 5c IN TRADE / LEAHY & McGARRY, ROGERS, N. DAK. It read 23 on digital and was about 10" deep. I found 2 Indian Heads dated 1883 and 1901. Also found 19 Wheats dated 1910,1912,1914,1917,1918-d,1919,1920,1929,1932-d,1936,1936-d,1940-d,(4)1944-d,1945-d,1946-d, and 1952-d. I found a few Misc. finds as well which included 2 Ingersoll Pocket Watches, one is an Ensign with the face and the other is just the guts, 3 Soo Line Lead Tags with different numbers on the backs and a NC/US pin with a threaded post on the back. Not a bad day at a supposed to be worked out area.
