..................We took Ms.Lincoln out for a ride today,and yesterday...that old girl just floats down the road.She going to make a GREAT ride all the way to Copper Harbor;for our honeymoon......Got to put her in the shop just before July 20th,for oil change,tire rotation,and detailing:Wash&wax,vacuuming,etc.......She is such a nice driving old girl,....I had to take out the original radio,worked intermittently(I looked online:A replacement AM/FM cassette radio from that time period was $600.00!!!)
..I just had Duke's Radio in Flint slide me in a new AM/FM/CD player,hooked right up,for about 1/4 of the price of that online one.The guy at the stereo shop told me to be careful with the volume,this new radio has a built in amp,and "those 24 year old speakers may be history QUICK,if you crank it up".....I also got a REMOTE CONTROL,with this radio,FIRST one for a car radio,I've ever had!!SOUNDS REAL NICE,in Ms.Lincoln......ANYHOO,our wedding plans are proceeding nicely;all is falling into place;thanks to GOD,AMEN!!!..................
