A little quiet,

jim tn

Well-known member
everyone must either be hunting or staying indoors do to the heat.

The month of June, save for my Minnesota trip, has been un-eventful detector swinging wise. I had been a little under the weather since just before my Mn trip and found out last Wed. that I needed a Pacemaker. Of which, was "installed" Wed. afternoon. All is well, in fact, even went swinging for a couple of hours Sat. morning. I didn't chase any iffy or deep targets just yet, as I need to be carefull with my left wing for a while, but did manage 2 wheaties out of 8 coins in total found. None were deeper then 5." Early mornings is about the only shot we have for doing any hunting, as every day now it has been crowding the 100 degree mark and the heat index being10 degrees or so higher. Take care and HH jim tn

Glad you're feeling better, it's hard to ER out when you're not feeling well. Hope your recovery is swift and complete.

Hope the pacemaker does not interfear with the F75
Seriously i hope you keep and enjoy all the activity's you choose. HH Mike.

Get better soon my friend !!!

Jim it is time to leave all those worries that usually don't show up anyway and have fun. HH take it a little slower and enjoy. Happy Trails....Z

and thanks for the pm's as well. I truly feel good and am truly blessed. Hope everyone finds some good recoveries. I still plan to get my share, so get out there, but do stay off my turf. HH jim tn

You got that right Jim--we ALL are truly blessed!------Hey, even if I was on "your turf"--ya would still "clean my plow"!! -------Del

Naw, Del, I know you are a darn good swinger along with many others on this forum. I just hunt as much as I can and the law of averages says I am going to put my coil over a good one every so often. I'll give you something to shoot for if you get out today, I found a visible date 34 Buffalo this morning. Beat that!!! HH jim tn

jim
glad your up & running just take it ez for a wile
no digging to china for at least a month lol
good you got it fixed

Thanks, unfortunately, our heat and drought conditions is taking care of not digging to China. I had to use a screw driver to chisel out a 4" deep nickel this morning and quite honestly, almost gave up on it. I am trying to take it easy, but I feel so darn good I have to keep reminding myself to take it a little easy yet for a while. Anyway, until we get some decent rain, I'll be forced to take it easy. Thanks again, HH jim tn

Jim-----You can have some of our rain from here in eastern OR!---Our reservoirs are full & it just KEEPS raining.---We've gotten the most amount of rainfall in the month of June that we've ever had since they started keeping records.----The west side of the state gets a lot of rain but we don't, (not like this) here on the east side.----Wished it would "dry up" so I can go 'tectin!! --------Del

A little quiet does all some good, but eventually you're gonna walk over a target and oh man, it's gonna be the one they put that new check box in ya for!

Here's to hoping you find many more!

Funny how it goes. Last month we had floods and now no rain and the ground is like concrete. Del, while sending some of your rain this way, send a month of your temps., too.:) HH jim tn

Hey Jim----I have been running the gas furnace till the last 2 or 3 nights---eat your heart out!!-----I'll think "eat your heart out" when I go to pay my gas bill! --------Del

Electric for the air conditioner, gas for the furnace, it all shakes out to be $$$$$. Seems like there should be more of a happy medium. Take care, HH jim tn
