No detecting, just spending time with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. Posting two photos of nice things we saw on the trip...
First, the Spruce Goose(which is actually made of birch plywood
). Beth is posing in front of it. It was just enormous. The photo just doesnt do justice to its size.

Second, is Sahalie Falls. This is near the headwaters of the McKenzie River. The headwaters is a small lake called Clear Lake. Around the edges, you can be in a boat and look 20-30 feet down to the bottom. As the river leaves the lake, it almost takes on a bluish hue. Here, the river crashes over a flow of basalt that blocked the river for a short time.

Glad to see most everyone is doing well. I hope to be able to go out and hunt more as fall gets here.
