Sherry's laptop is missing a few keys off her keyboard. Even though I had the keys I could never get them reattached.
The monitor on my laptop developed a single vertical color line and I noticed by pressing on the top of the screen the line went away. Then one day I wound up with 3 lines. Did the same thing and they all went away. Then 5 lines and tried the same technique but...I pressed too hard and cracked the screen and was then not able to see about 3 inches of the top of the screen which grew more and more everyday..til I was almost at half screen not being useable.
Figured one day one of us would get another computer then Sherry and I could combine one to repair the other and have spare parts. Never could afford to get a another laptop.
There was the 2 'needs'. As I said 'God provides'.
My sister-in-law had a laptop that the motherboard died in. Replacing it would have cost much more than the new computer she bought. She kept her hard drive from the broken computer and she gave me her broken computer for parts. This morning I replaced the screen on my computer with her like new screen. This is great - I can see a whole screen now! Love it. I removed the keyboard from the broken computer and will replace Sherry's keyboard with this like new one. There are other parts we can use from that other computer too when needed.
Thanks to my sister-in-law and Thanks to our Father - a loss becomes a multiple gain.
