Headed out this morning with the Omega in tow to the river woods figuring this would probably be my last woods hunt until next winter. No "figuring" about it, this was it. Although I had doused myself with Deep Woods repellent, tic's were all over my cloths when I got out of the woods three hours later. Didn't dig a whole bunch of consequence, but did manage 2 older coin varieties. The 1902 IH is one of the nicer ones I've dug of late. Noted after I dug it that it looked like it had some good detail, so dropped it in my small water bottle. The V nickel didn't fare as well. It appears to be a 189?, the best that I can tell. For those of you that wonder how the Omega would do on small targets, note the few pieces of pieces of small lead. I was running disc 1 and had on the 10" concentric coil. Which, really works well for woods hunting. HH jim tn
