It has been told to me by more than one person that Michigan DNR is goind to DOUBLE the state park campsite fees for 2007....:thumbdown::rant::ban::nono:THAT REALLY STINKS-Some of them campgrounds;if they double,will be as much as some motels in the state...SO:I am calling for a boycott on all Michigan State Parks this year if that happens...
 
old enough for the Senior Citizen's silver or golden pass if Michigan has them that is?....Some states do and when 50 or older the parks' and campgrounds' prices are reduced. But though it helps older people, it sure doesn't help the young families with children who want to visit for picnicing and camping.....the gov't (politicians) are getting more greedy than ever! Grrrrrr! :(

and I've seen people camping within 50 feet of the main street - in the campground. What kind of camping is that. If I want road noise, people talking and making noise on the street sidewalks - well - I'll move back to Lansing. And to charge double for that???????? And then on top of that tell us either we can't detect in the campground or tell us everything we find we have to show to and possible give up to the campground 'police' - rubbish!:nono:

I don't use the DNR campgrounds - I live 'UPNORTH" hahahahaha - I AM camping hahahahahaha :rofl: and don't have to pay them a dime.
 
I had already heard that they wanted to double all hunting and fishing fees. I hope this one makes you and others equally mad. If they start with the sportsman, the rest are next! :(
 
is that being cruel or what? I bought a license last year and used it once. Determined with the hernia it was next to impossible to fish from shore ((carrying tackle box, poles, bucket (and the added water weight) for caught fish, the bait box, and of course my coffee)) - just too much for this boy to carry by himself. No kid to take a little red wagon from either to haul it all in. Didn't catch a thing either.

Yep, I want to pay more for yet another license I might use once or twice - and pay much much more for it (being fecicious here). Sold the water detector so won't be going in to find valuables to pay for the license either. Well even if one can't 'use' the lake it still looks pretty and relaxing - except during the Budfest (alcohol and stupidy being poured out all over the place).
 
IT SEEMS LIKE LICENSES ARE ALL GOING UP, HERE IN TEXAS:FISHING LICENSES ARE THE WORSE ,LAST YEAR THEY WERE $38.00.LISTEN TO THIS,TEXAS IS THE ONLY STATE I KNOW THAT YOU CAN BUY A FISHING LICENSE AND STILL CANNOT FISH??FIGURE THIS ONE OUT??THE STATE IS TRYING HURT THE SPORTSMAN,INORDER TO BE ABLE TO FISH IN FRESH WATER YOU HAVE TO HAVE A STAMP ALSO ANOTHER STAMP FOR SALT -WATER FISHING.SO WITHOUT THE STAMPS YOU CANNOT FISH!!!:ranting:SO WHY ,BUY A FISHING LICENSE--WHY NOT JUST SELL THE STAMPS AND FORGET THE FISHING LICENSE.MONEY,MONEY,ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY,PEOPLE IN THIS GOV. OFFICES JUST SIT TRYING TO FIRGURE HOW TO TAKE YOUR MONEY!OUR FOUNDING FATHERS ARE ROLLING OVER IN THEIR GRAVES.:ban::rant:

AFTER YOU BUY YOUR LICENSE YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED THREE RED FISH AND 10 TROUT IN SALT WATER.THE TROUT LIMIT IS OK ,BUT THE RED FISH IS TERRIBLE.THE REDS HAVE TO BE BEWEEN 20"==28"AND TROUT 15"-25".
