5 inches deep or so.....177/8 on the meter....a little to deep for a zinc penny at this spot..so I new it was something neat...any info is always a bouns............ADAM>>>>>>>>>>>..

but more likely something from the hippies.........take care Tony...are you home yet??/how was your trip..and did you find any silver in Cal.
 
I didn't find any silver but found some gold.
This is the nicest gold ring I've found ever.

Usually all I find are modern coins. I just don't know where to go.
I will be going back out to CA May 11th to June 9th.
Maybe we can meet up somewhere out there.
 
I know the general area you were staying at last time..is it the same place in Cal.??if so then yes I may drive down...did you meet any of the guys when you were here last month...I know that area has a fairly large group of avid and very skilled hunters....hope to meet some of those guys as well...talk to ya soon........
 
Yea, same place. This one guy was going to meet up with me but we never got around to meeting. I can't remember his name but he likes to detect the beaches in Detroit.
Anyway, maybe sometime we'll meet up. This time I'm taking out my Explorer with me and see what I've been missing.
