A new forest fire is going on right now just south of us

the fire chief said its about a 1/4 mile and is now up into the pines and the pines burn quick and cause more sparks....the wind just picked up as a storm is moving in but the wind isn't going to help...the sand access road the fire fighters have to get to the fire is loose sand and dangerous to drive on


The fire is about 3 miles from Old 27 which is about a mile and a half west of us and the fire is about 3 miles south of us. Don't know the wind direction - hoping it isn't from the south going north. If so we might wind up having to evacuate and we can't take all our pets if we have to leave.

Prayers for the fire fighters and prayers for a down pour to help them put out the fire.

Praying for your home and each of you to be safe and for God to send lots of rain to put out the fires, quickly, and for no fire figher or anyone else to be in harm's way! Dear Lord, Please be with Pete and his family and the familes and homes in the path of the fire and stop the fires before any more homes are burned nor any disasters to the people and animals! We know You can do it and put an end to the burning flames with rain falling upon the lands and homes in danger! Please help Pete and Sherry take care of themselves and the animals! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, and Holy Spirit for guidance, wisdom and knowledge for controlling the fire and distiquishing the flames and hot coals! Amen! Ma Betty
