Also found a pewter button and a Rev. War area button.
 
Think you had said in another post you were hunting in relic mode. Are you running in the 8kh freq or have you changed it. Looks like the higher freq would do better on buttons.
Going to be doing some relic hunting with the Deus this winter Amy help on settings would be great.
 
Since the GMAXX program runs at 8, I change the relic mode to 4khz. Cross check after that. I have not noticed any problem digging buttons at 4khz. In heavy iron patches I hold my ground and just add a small amount of Reactivity. It works. remember 18khz program would suit gold hunters and conditions in Europe and the UK looking for hammered and small Roman coins. Are cut Spanish reales are easily found at 8 and 4 kHz. Just use minimal reactivity. All will be fine. 4khz really tells you it is large iron.
