Picked up where I left off yesterday morning hunting the edges of sidewalks and roads. First find was the American Flag laying nestled down in some tall grass. 1st over all good target was the sterling ring from about a 4 inch depth. Did manage 5 wheat cents to use in our clubs monthly and on going wheatie bingo. 5 you ask? Yup, 5. The bottom cent is actually 2 wheat cents somehow stuck together with Lincoln showing on both sides. One side is a 1944 and the other is 1945. Besides the usual junk, I got 9 items of clad and Memorial cents for my shortened hunt. Lawn day today and want to beat the heat while the temps are still in the 80's. Off to beat the heat. F 75 LTD, 11dd coil, B P mode, (grass getting tall) sen 85, disc 4, 4h tones and G B 73. HH jim tn
Is it some sort of unspoken thing? The old guy that lives next door causes me more work and trouble with the missus everytime he works out raking leaves, mowing, cleaning gutters, washing windows, staining his deck, etc...the wife says its time for me to do exactly what he is doing, the very minute he is doing it!
He even shovels the snow off the ROOF of his house!
He mows on thursdays incedentally! oh, nice finds Jim! good luck at bingo
I sold my house and live in an apartment. I let those other guys do all that out door stuff for me. That guy is cutting the grass now.
Sometimes I watch him and no I don't want to trade places with him. My honey due list is very short, "Take me shopping!"
