A prayer request...

Loren is sick tonight...it's nothing major or life threatening by any means, but her ears are hurting and draining and she is very congested. I had to rock her to sleep (which I didn't mind a bit), but I hate for her to be sick tomorrow. Tomorrow after school, she will be a part of her first ever grandparents day. All her grandparents are going to be there and she has been so excited for the last week. They will be able to have their picture taken together, see her class and meet her teacher and etc. My poor baby always gets sick when something cool is happening...she always seems to miss out on the birthday parties, school functions and the like I have her an appointment with a new ENT for this Friday to discuss a tonsilectomy and addenoidectomy. I hope she can hold out til then and not miss any school!

Awe, Mike. I hope you don't have a sick chick on your hands, too! Praying for Miss Grace If you guys are like us, we have gone from 101 degree temps to the upper 50's. We've had a cold drizzly rain for a week now and Loren's elementary school went on a field trip and the kiddos were outside in this yucky weather. It was bound to happen....

Praying for Loren and Grace for quick healing for the sicknesses! Weather has been changing a lot here, also! But glad it has gotten cooler than all that hot, humid weather we had most of the summer! Dear Father, Please touch the sick children with Your healing and comforting Holy Spirit and help them to be well soon and for Loren to be able to attend her grandparents day at school! We Praise and give You thanks Oh Lord, for hearing and answering our prayers ASAP! Thank You, Jesus! Amen! Ma Betty

Loren felt much better the next morning and had a very nice grandparents day! She has been congested this week and extra tired, but overall okay. We have an appointment with a new ENT tomorrow who has come highly recommended to us. Hopefully he will have some solutions/ideas on how to help manage her allergies. The poor kiddo has a milk allergy, has excema, seasonal allergies, tubes in her ears and now I think has chronic swollen tonsils and addenoids. She is snoring at night, not sleeping well, always complaining of her throat and stomach hurting from drainage. I feel badly for her and am willing to anything to make her feel better.

Grace missed one day. After seeing the Dr, she has a urinary tract infection. On antibiotics for 10 days. All else is well. Thanks for asking.

Glad both Loren and Grace are feeling better....It is so sad when our children are sick but I have learned to pray in Jesus' name for their illnesses, so I feel better that He is healing and answering my prayers! Doesn't mean though that we don't have to go through the trials of sickness and etc. but Jesus will take us through to the other side where He is and is still there for us! Amen! Ma Betty
