a question for Jesus...

I have made my peace with creationism, found a way to settle my issues with dinosaurs and fumbled and stumbled with Bible study long enough I lifted the shroud Satan buries this world in from over my eyes. I was lucky enough to have a visit from the Holy Spirit... once (I wish that was on demand)

So these days I'm feeling alright, actually better than alright, I feel SAVED! secure, a little careless and more free that ever!

But there is this one question I have for Jesus and I fear He will not be amused since there is zero reference to this kind of goofiness in the Bible. And if I recall God created all things in the universe so if anything ever steps out of one of these things and claims to be from this universe I will have to treat it as one of God's creations not one of Satan's distractions. So lets all hope whatever these are they stay up there for now. I want to believe this is the devil's work but the second I'm seeing ET on Fox that dog may not hunt and Houston... we may have a problem.

like Mike and Travis, I don't think the bible specifically mentions anything of UFO's or Aliens. That in itself really is enough for me, but I know many people feel the need to test or explain everything. In Revelation 9:1-11, the bible speaks of demonic creatures that swarm the earth to torment man. In verse 4 specifically, it states that the beings are limited to the people who do not have the seal of GOD on their heads. Anyone can claim to be a Christian, even think their salvation is real. I would be interested to see how many TRUE Christians have seen UFO's and other sightings. My personal thought would be that it's non-existent. Yes, Ma Betty, I hope you chime in on this one!

You don't believe in "them" you mean (aliens) right? I am with you on that too but you can't deny the unidentified objects that clearly are not just people jerking camera's on balloons LOL. You can see as well as anyone with today's multi-sightings from dozens of angles from hundreds of camera's, cellphones over major cities in broad day light that they are unidentified.

How can there be walking talking beings inside these objects from this universe and they didn't receive God's word like we all must before He returns. Obviously if there was a being in those contraptions it has chosen not to believe its creator and avoids one of the most prominent commands in the Bible (fellowship).

The pictures taken by millions around the world can no longer be written off as man made. The hard evidence must never be known to maintain our faith and understanding of Gods promise so I won't believe there is anything inside UFO's either. Empty shells and images Satan rolls out to do what he does best... deceive us, rattle us and distract us from the truth. That's why I say as long as they are not tangible and don't step out in any form on Fox news network all is well in my world

But honestly it's one of the best shows on earth right now, an open display of forces beyond our control. How helpless we are to deal with Satan and the real war raging behind the scenes. During this harvest Satan will get bolder and bolder in his weird displays and that's fine to a point, but tell me he can't just manifest himself in any form and claim to be our creator because I would call foul and expect no less from our God because so many would fail and follow what they can see, hear and touch and Christians would really become isolated and appear to be racist and intolerant.

Just continue to ignore the show in the sky, and pray there are some rules to this war, some sense of far play. He is a fair God I understand so when will we get a little counter action for this major distraction?

it is hard to believe anything we see on the internet. So many things are fake and being made that one does not know what to believe.
I don't deny that many may have seen this ( who knows what in the sky ) But I wasn't there so who knows???

I was born again in March of 1990 at the age of 36 years. While growing in my Christianity, I've learned and come to understand more and more through the years about the sovereignty of Yahweh. He is in control. As far as being able to stand against the enemies of God, with the indwelling Spirit, who or what can stand against me. Powers and principalities and things can kill my body. But, the real me still keeps going. My physical life on THIS earth is a vapor. I honestly believe all the UFOs that we've seen are satanic in nature. Satan is like a bad dog on a leash. God let's satan go as far as as God allows. God is always under control though. Why does God allow many, many thousands of unborn babies to be killed? I don't know. But, He is ultimately the One in control of that situation. While some young girl is being gang raped in an alley in New York city, God is right there. He has a plan. It's a plan that we are a part of at all times. He doesn't need us, but He chooses to use us to carry out His plan. A Christian can contemplate things such as the UFOs, but should never worry about them. I'm not saying anyone here is worrying about it. I also don't believe there are any other creatures on other planets. If there are, then I'm OK with it. God is still in control. We're not meant to understand everything. This phenomenon should be thought about with much prayer.
Before I became a Christian, I witnessed on two separate occasions flying objects that I couldn't explain. Would I like to know exactly what they were? Heck yes, I would!!! But, now that I am a child of the Living God, I don't worry and wonder about those things like i did in the past.
I'm even going to stick my neck out and do some speculation here. I think that UFOs could play a part in some of the end time events. Pure speculation. God knows what this unusual stuff is, and that's good enough for me. ><>

Well, that is some question and a stumper for those who haven't seen them! I did see an aircraft triangular shaped with lights under it and it was huge, fly over St. Louis at night after it was sighted over the airforce base in Illinois...even police in their patrol cars saw it and then it flew over Lambert Airport! It was huge, dark and low flying and another time I saw something in the sky as I was going somewhere and it was a mystery and whether a weather balloon or something else I don't know...it was large, bright and shiny! There are many objects in space that nations' gov'ts have put out there and many aircraft that they are experimenting with that it is difficult to know what is seen in space! There could be aliens from outer space, as surely this isn't the only planet with life and seeking to know what is out there, for NASA was created by mankind to do searching to find out if there is life on other planets! Mars is like our planet, so it could be aliens from there! I haven't seen flying saucers or any phenomenon like many others are supposed to have seen, but God has shown me supernatural things by His Holy Spirit in viisons and dreams!

The Bible does mention in the Old Testament that there were Giants in the land and somewhere it mentions that there were those who came down and saw that the women of earth were beautiful to behold and married them! I am not sure right now, how it is worded, so will try and find Chapter and Verse and let you know later unless someone else can locate it first! Jesus did say that we will be like the angels when we are in heaven and will not marry or be married, so I believe we will be without means of procreation! Just a very tough question but a good one to get us searching, studying and reading the Bible again! I pray that we don't encounter people or whatever from outer space, as with the way humans are, they would just war with them!!

Okay, Martin, what is your thoughts on this subject as you are well scholared in the different Bibles??? I believe in familiar spirits and these are what satan uses to make people believe in those who use this to make money off those who don't read or understand the Bible to think that someone else can hear from God and tell them what they want to know! Now, there are psychics but I believe they are of the One True God and not satan, which is done supernaturally through the Holy Spirit of God! Familiar spirits know some things but they don't know everything about a person but just enough to make people believe that their loved one is okay and etc.; etc.

Well, that is my knowledge of the subject of aliens from other planets and it isn't much and as far as being the gatekeeper on the CMD Forum that is Mike in Michigan's job, for He is the Moderator!

Keep reading the Word, Bob, and asking of God and He will show you the truth, for He has never failed me when I wanted to know something that I didn't understand and was curious about...not really curious about UFOs and Aliens! I like this answer a lot... love the unknown and I'm always standing on the nearest hill trying to get a peek at whats on the other side. Afraid of aliens? no but what would be frightening is if whatever those are could play a part in the end times by claiming to have created us because so many would believe that... truly wicked and certainly out of bounds even for dark angels. I already hate Satan so much for holding members of my own family hostage and those who I look back knowing Jesus did not know them before they died. I can't help but look for someone or something to direct this energy. The Bible is full of war and rumors of war to come and God has no problem with wiping away entire populations over and over again unless they accept Him as the one true God. I don't understand anyone who wouldn't just error on Gods request given the choices these days. God doesn't ask for much to be a team player so it amazes me that my own family members can sit before me on a holiday like today and be oblivious or unwilling to even hear of the gospel of Jesus Christ... but they won't. Yet the first false prophet that gets off the bus they would be all over that! I would be the lunatic for believing in our Lord and savior and they would be be intelligent ones for following ET.

We're living in exciting times, McMurphy. I believe we are living in the end times. We need to be living like Jesus is coming in the next minute.
Folks can get an idea of the concept of salvation even if they aren't saved. But, they can't fully comprehend it unless the Holy Spirit indwells them. When I first got saved, I steam rolled my family with Jesus talk. I couldn't figure out at first why they weren't happy and excited for me. I think they actually hated to see me come. Quite a while later I learned that they couldn't comprehend what had happened to me. But they couldn't because God hasn't opened their spiritual eyes yet. I'm no better than them. It's just that my sins are forgiven. the only person they could see is the old Kevin. We need to pray everyday for our unsaved family members. Please pray for my family and I'll pray for yours. ><>
