Same deal! No place to go so hit an old stand by. Got 3 wheats, an old broken toy plane, a Tootsie Toy semi trailer, an old fork, and three rings in one hole!
One is sterling, and the other two are not. Had fun for a quick hunt. The little buckle was in my pouch from my relic hunt the other day.

3 in one hole! Couldn't believe after I dug one, I covered it up and then heard another tone. Flipped my plug over again and two more popped out! :)
The middle one is sterling.

BWARE!!!!!!! This was dug in the corn field the other day too. I can understand in a park or even a tot lot because druggies hang out in them, but in a corn field you ask? A couple years ago this field was full of dairy cows. One must have needed a shot in the field. I did notice it is a heavy gauge needle.
Dime is for size! Could have been an ouch!

Congrats, Mike, on the finds and rings and glad you didn't get stuck with that needle....sure could have been dangerous! God Bless! Betty

Nice finds for a quick hunt. Never know what you're going to find. We should BEWARE, you never know what you may get into.

i did that on a soccer field once! never thought id see someone else do it.

how 3 rings came to be in one hole. I bet someone took them off and laid them down so as not to lose them...then lost 'em:biggrin:
They could also have been in a pocket...and caused a hole to be worn in said pocket. Pretty neat to think of the possibilities as to how they ended up there.

HI Bryce, I often wonder about things like that and pocket spills...even the older coins...like silver ones. Once I found many quarters stacked up on one another like they had been stacked into a pile and then forgot about! It was near one of the horseshoe ringers and they probably were using the quarters to pay the winners! Gave me a thrill anyway to find them and they were under the soil, so had been there quite some time! :) God Bless! Betty
