Please pray for my sister and unborn niece. My sis is 30 weeks and will be delivering soon. She entered into the pregnancy (which is a miracle) with several health concerns and has been high risk from the start. Everything that the doctors thought "might" go wrong has gone wrong, even things they were not expecting. Now, the baby is under stress and is not gaining weight or growing in utero. Baby Adalee has actually lost a week of growth in the last several days, so timing is important. My sister has a bleeding disorder, so her c-section is a bit riskier than most. Baby Adalee is expected to spend at least a month in the NICU. To make matters even worse, my sister who very recently graduated from nursing school, lost her job when going on bedrest as she had not been able to work through the probationary period required for her job. I appreciate all prayers, it will be a long road!

The good things is 30 weeks is in the safe zone. Many prayers on the way. My wife works in the NICU here.

Have just prayed in JESUS name for mercy and grace, and a delivery of this baby and the health of your neice.

Thanks, Mike. Yes, we were all happy for her to be at the 30 week mark, but her dr keeps reinforcing that the baby has lost ground and is actually more like a 28 week. Good news is, she has completed her surfactin shots and Adalee's lungs appear to be functioning in ultrasounds!

Thanks, Ma, Sandtick and Nock. The prayers mean so much. My sis is now off her blood thinners to prepare for the c-section and I guess 7centsworth will be donating a little blood for her today, so it won't be long now. Unfortunately, my sister has developed a bad cold and her dr. says she will not be able to hold or be around the baby until she is well. This news about pushed her over the edge and honestly, I can't blame her. Will keep ya updated, I have complete faith that everything will be fine, my concern is that as a mama, I feel so badly for all my sister is having to go through.
