Finished work at 3pm today and headed to the race track again for a few hours,Had a great afternoon and ended up with 77 coins, the large ones are halfcrowns and would you believe they are both the same year (1934).Also a nice 1873 sixpence $25 in $1 and $2 coins along with lots of older 1 and 2 cent pieces. will try and go back tomorrow a horse trainer lost his wedding ring there two days ago so I will try and find it for him.

A couple of real sweet silvers there Jim. I'd love to snag a crown or half crown one day. they are not an every day find.
Mick Evans.

What a great reason to go back...if the trainer lost his ring, who knows what else is there...It's my bet you wont be just looking for his ring:lol: Great finds and good luck with the next hunts there.

Great finds Jim!! It was an old country racetrack that first started me on the road to my life's passion. Its such a buzz to get amongst the big silver. Well done.
