Went out for a couple hours, got these three Silver pieces. Wet sand amoung the small rocks. Gene
 
That Mercury looks brand new. A closeup front and back would be great...it you have the time!!

Here's the close ups for 2DZTDAY, The coin was lost today because it had been cleaned, and most likely dropped by a grand kid out of grandpa's collection. Who knows. Gene

Hi Gene, I went out for a couple of hours this weekend although the water was high most of daylight hours. My CZ20 seemed to be working erratically in the black sand, I don't remember experiencing this before. Maybe I need to change the batteries, or better still get one of those killer excals like you:detecting:
