A smorgsbord of finds, several pieces of jewelry and $13.80 in coin,

This is 3 days in a row, @ 2 hours each day, using the XT705 with the HF DD Elliptical ( 2 days) and the HF DD 6" ( 1 day) on the dry beach sand.
One of the resorts was picking up all the wooden cabana lounges and moving them aside so that they could level out the beach sand that had built up under and around them since last summer. They used a small Bobcat to scrape, dump and spread the excess sand around the beach.
I thought for sure I would be lucky enough to find some yellow stuff:)....but was only able to find 3 silver/925 pieces; the sun toe ring, running shoe charm,(both found with the Elliptical) and the earring backing (found with the 6")
On the average I dug four dollars in clad each day for a total of $13.80,with a 3 dollars in quarters total each day. The bullet shaped things are lead weights and the half pull tabs are included because they fool me every time....I would bet on them to have been a nickel every time, TID 12.
The sun ring is 1g, TID 14, shoe is 2g TID 28 and the earring backing no weight, TID 8.......... GL ALL

nice going bob

I know any day that I find silver it's a good day and the clad helps a lil on the gas tank.

That is a lot of really good finds. Congratulations.

Way to go Bob!

You have no idea how much I envy you at the moment.

Nice clad haul! Redeemable for breakfast or lunch over at Ricky T's.

Wow! Congratulations on the finds. Of course, we north-easterners would settle for no-finds, just to be on a beach and out of the snow and cold.....:crylol:

Thanks all...it was fun even if no yellow was found!
Here's a pic of the sand build up on the lounges that happens from the end of summer till spring. Winter storms coming in off the Gulf blow lots of beach sand around, if your out there it's like getting sand blasted!!......A number of other resorts still need to dig out before spring break.
OL.. pack your bags and head south, got a place still under renovation, but livable!!
Mapper.. Rick was a good friend, passed away years ago... but Ricky T's lives on, good food and music.
Try the VIP a couple doors down next time, great Mexican food for the past 40 years.
GL ALL...stay warm!
