..GETTYSBERG,ALWAYS been of#1 interest to me from Civil War era....They had a historical society (with METAL DETECTORS!!!)doing an official investigation of the battle movements, from Little Round Top,to the Wheat Field, finally Pickett's charge...They came to the conclusion the Confederates;although they made good account of themselves;were destined from the start to be;sadly, hopelessly defeated...I have never been there, hope to go someday....They interviewed some of the experts from there...They,and others say,to this day;the atmosphere there is haunting...I seen a picture on a show about"Haunted Gettysberg"that somebody supposedly took of a building there some time ago-Showed a vague image of a Confederate soldier standing on the porch;the one that took the pic SWEARS the soldier was NOT there when the pic was taken...HISTORY there?NO doubt about it-Haunted???
