That "christian"I work with told me this morning he had to bury his Labrador Retriever last night-it got out in the road, and got hit...That would be bad enough, but the dog WAS BLIND,had been for as while...I said"I wouldnt think it would wander much, being blind-He said"WELL,IT DID"....He let this poor creation of GOD-BLIND-wander out into the road, and get killed....What I was gettin at washe should'nt have been lettin the dog wander around in the first place...I can feel Im gonna be tellin him about it,too...SOON-They had other dogs that the same thing happened to-his excuse??"Nobody will watch it"...He's married,4 kids....They dont DESERVE any kind of animals at all...

since I am not there nor know anything about the guy's home life. I am thinking that inside he may be grieving at the loss of the dog. You said it had been blind a while...guessing he had the dog for a long time and became attached to it...even when we don't think we are attached to something we become surprised when we find we are or were.

Maybe he is angry inside because of uncaring family members. If these were what he is feeling, I don't think getting on his case will help. Prayers for protection of the animals would be helpful. Prayers for his family to become more in touch with God and the gifts (animals) He has given them. Prayers for comforting for the loss of the dog.

Sometimes the best thing is to do nothing more than talk to God. Let Him know how we feel about things like this and ask Him to help with the heaviness in your heart for the loss of this poor animal. Just my thoughts for what they are worth Steve.
