A.T. gold ground balance window

I haven't. I just do a manual and it runs great.

Watch the video for tips on where to use it. Mainly for hot ground. I've used it in damp sand where the surface is uneven. Basically any place where the threshold is unstable, it can help to smooth things out so you can hear the faint targets.

The threshold level is another one you can adjust. If you have noisy ground you can run it in negative numbers, it still gives good depth. Use both controls only as needed, but you should practice using both of them whenever you get into bad ground. Although I've never tried it, I suspect if you get electrical interference the lower threshold adjustment might help. It's easy to forget these controls are there.

It is only needed when hunting areas where the ground mineralization is always changing.....very typical on gold bearing country.

Hi Pax,
I use it occasionally when prospecting. It works well and as expected, smoothing out the threshold over heavily mineralized ground. Of course, I only find gold when I least expect it, so ????? (not complaining, Thank You, Angels! )
