a Tale of Woe

I wear hearing aids in both ears, While out hunting in an old park that I hunt frequently, one of my hearing aids fell out. It fell out of the ear that had the most loss, so it went unnoticed until i returned home and went to shower. I went back to the park and tried searching the places I had hunted. I pride myself in trying to leave no evidence of my recovering coins, so I was unable to find my lost hearing aid. These hearing gadgets cost me a little over $7000. I have an insurance policy but a $1000 deductible. I guess my short version would read, instead of finding a valuable ring, I lost the equivalent of a new GTi 2500. The rain and the lawnmower have passed on the park, so i have given up on a recover. Its my fault I should have checked them every time I took my headphones off to dig a find.

That is horrible news Digger. Is there anyhting you can do to avoid that happening again?

The left ear (aid) fits well, and it dosen't fall out, I have to intentionally remove it. Thanks for asking.

Man, sorry. Seems like it would show up in an all-metal mode.
Thanks for the reply
yeah, but I probably never passed the coil over it. I had covered a lot of area that morning. Oh well its gone.....I still have the one for my left ear so I can hear my garrett pro pointer. I've never really hunted in all-metal mode, I've losst my little usermanual and I havent found a good all=metal mode vid on u tube.

Did the same thing about five yr,s ago. Right ear 1600.00 to fix.

Wow I never thought of losing....got the biggest shock ever when I was given a price of $5000 for a pair a while back and only guaranteed 3 years...
Guess my wife will have to put up with me not hearing her, but on the good side can still hear a silver 10-12 inch dime....
