A thought for Tesoro...

Have used all the Tesoro notch units ever made heres a thought..

Older models had a no motion all metal pinpoint that had audio variances to a trained ear...Golden U-max came with VCO and did away with those variances.

How about a toggle on the golden u-max for a choice of VCO or no motion all metal pinpoint which would enhance its abilities....

I don't like VCO, except is the Sandshark PI. I don't think it pinpoints nearly as well as no motion all metal pinpoint that can be detuned and as you said for me it is useless for adding information to the dig decision. If we must have VCO it would be terriffic to have the alternative. It's fortunate that Tesoro Detectors pinpoint so well that I nearly never have to listen to that earsplitting sound.
