Only the second one Iv'e gotten into in my lifetime of detecting- was an old over 100yr old inter urban depot, ground covered with OLD gravel, couldn't detect, constant signal, never let up, checked the gravel, was mixed with small steel and iron all ground up but was about 1/4 in or larger in size, under this was busted and cracked concrete filled with steel, and pipe, very large area, but had to give it up, did find one mashed earring that was junk laying on top of the mess tho, DURN= oh well they be better places:twodetecting::garrett:

No, I do the speedway, it's not all that bad, the other, was a mountain on the Continental Divide, the ground was covered with, (COVERED) IRON ORE, very small stuff bout the size of BB's, looked almost they had been spread there, mebbe back in the 1840's or so, looked like brown soil to me, probly an area the size of a football field, ran upon this while detecting old logging camps bout 8 or 10 yr ago, just one of those things ya don't forget.
