About my job.........................

warthog

New member
......I am on a production line, assembling heater/AC units for underneath dashboards for cars. Now,I would be fibbing if I said I was totally pain-free.After not working for almost 2 years,my lower back and legs/feet are complaining nicely by shift's end.THATS OK,though-When I am there,I give my job everything I got,and worry about the pain after work.I just have to get used to standing for 8 hours again,is all.AND the doctors told me my back will be tender for at least a year after surgery,........BUT,I can tell I was not as sore last night at quitting time,as I have been.My motto is"If it doesn't hurt,I'm not putting enough energy into it"......................Steve...............

About your back. They sell a heat pad called BodiHeat at Rite Aid Pharmacy or CuraHeat at CVS. It is the same bt Rite Aid is "much" cheaper ok. It is the BEST heating pad you will ever use. You put it on at supper and it is still warm the next morning and it is a ice deep heat as well. It is better than BenGay, IcyHot, Tiger Balm, all of them ok and it is cheaper than ALL of them and there is no smell at all NONE. It costs $4.25 at Rite Aid for 4 Pads and $5.35 at CVS for 3 pads ok. So go to Rite Aid ok. Lastly, change that Motto ok. Your not Superman for sure. The old saying is that "I tried to wear a Red S on my chest and wound up wit a Red something else instead." ok. Think about it.!!!! If anyone here knows about backs it's me ok. So yes it will hurt for a few but dn't kill yourself ok or you will be back in the hospital again for sure. I can guarantee that ok. PEACE:RONB

I hope you are doing some type of PT to strengthen you back. Man it can be tough to be on you feet for an entire shift.

Jeff
